Allyson Felix

Allyson Michel Felix was born on the 18th of November 1985 in Los Angeles. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix, is a minister ordained at Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a teacher of primary schools in Balboa Magnet. Felix discovered early that she had a talent for running when attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. Just 10 weeks after her first attempt, she finished in second place in the 200 meter event at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix completed high school in 2003, and was signed by Adidas a contract as professional athlete. In the following year, she attended University of Southern California studying elementary education. Felix was awarded her first Olympic award at 2004 Summer Olympics In Athens Greece. Felix ran 200m in 22.18s and set an all-time junior world record. The 2005 Helsinki World Championships saw her becoming the youngest female to win the 200 meter race. In 2007, she won this title and beat her Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix took part at the Olympics at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro as well as Tokyo always finishing in the top three of her races.
